Merry Berry Body Jam

As the great British bake off kicks off and the lovely Mary Berry graces our screens with talks of soggy bottoms and the piercing blue eyes of Paul Hollywood, I thought it would be appropriate for all you avid fans to enjoy your very own home made merry berry body jam inspired by bake queen herself.
This fresh sweet smelling jam exfoliates, softens and refreshes the skin. It is packed with antioxidants, minerals and vitamins from the pigmented berries. The nutrients that berries contain are known to be beneficial to skin and protect it from free radicals, reduce inflammation, hydrate and increase elastin levels. The mint soothes and cleanses.
Ingredients
A handful of pre frozen mixed berries about 6g-7g(raspberries, blue berries and black berries)
5 mint leaves
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 cup granulated sugar
Method
In a bowl roughly crush the berries with a fork. Finely chop the mint leaves and add this in along with oil and stir. Gradually add the sugar and mix well. Top with mint leaves for decorative proposes. Chill jam for a few hours then enjoy. Keep refrigerated.
Tips
In the shower dampen skin and slather on a generous amount, scrub skin in a circular motion or you can scoop a good amount and add some shower gel rub between your palms and lather up. Have fun. Share your pics on Facebook so we can see.
